By ബെംഗളൂരു: ക്രിസ്മസ് അവധിക്കാലത്ത് കേരളത്തിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രക്കാരുടെ തിരക്ക് ഗണ്യമായി ഉയരുമെന്ന കണക്കുകൂട്ടലിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ കർണാടക സംസ്ഥാന റോഡ് ട്രാൻസ്പോർട്ട് കോർപ്പറേഷൻ (കെഎസ്ആർടിസി) 66 പ്രത്യേക ബസ് സർവീസുകൾ അനുവദിച്ചു. ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ ജോലി, പഠനം എന്നിവയ്ക്കായി കഴിയുന്ന ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് മലയാളികൾ ക്രിസ്മസ് ആഘോഷങ്ങൾക്കായി നാട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുന്ന ഈ നിർണായക സമയത്ത്, യാത്രാ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾ കുറച്ച് സുരക്ഷിതവും സൗകര്യപ്രദവുമായ യാത്ര ഉറപ്പാക്കുകയാണ് കെഎസ്ആർടിസിയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം.
ഡിസംബർ 19, 20, 23, 24 തീയതികളിലായാണ് പ്രത്യേക സർവീസുകൾ പ്രധാനമായും ഓപ്പറേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുക. അവധിയുടെ തുടക്കത്തിലും ക്രിസ്മസിന് തൊട്ടുമുമ്പുള്ള ദിവസങ്ങളിലും തിരക്ക് കുത്തനെ ഉയരുന്ന സാഹചര്യമാണ് കണക്കിലെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഡിസംബർ 19-നും 20-നും 14 ബസുകൾ വീതം സർവീസ് നടത്തുമ്പോൾ, തിരക്ക് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതലാകുന്ന 23-നും 24-നും 19 ബസുകൾ വീതമാണ് അനുവദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിനോടകം തന്നെ ടിക്കറ്റ് ബുക്കിംഗ് ആരംഭിച്ചതായും, തിരക്ക് കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് യാത്രക്കാർ മുൻകൂട്ടി ബുക്ക് ചെയ്ത് സീറ്റുകൾ ഉറപ്പാക്കണമെന്നും കെഎസ്ആർടിസി അധികൃതർ അഭ്യർത്ഥിച്ചു.
ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ നിന്ന് കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രധാന നഗരങ്ങളായ എറണാകുളം, കോഴിക്കോട്, തൃശ്ശൂർ, പാലക്കാട്, കോട്ടയം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലേക്കും വിനോദസഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രമായ മൂന്നാറിലേക്കുമാണ് പ്രത്യേക സർവീസുകൾ ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ക്രിസ്മസ് അവധിക്കാല യാത്രയും ശബരിമല തീർത്ഥാടനവും ഒരേസമയം ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ, പമ്പയിലേക്ക് നേരത്തെ അനുവദിച്ച പ്രത്യേക തീർത്ഥാടന സർവീസുകളും ഈ ക്രമീകരണങ്ങളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതുവഴി സാധാരണ യാത്രക്കാരുടെയും തീർത്ഥാടകരുടെയും യാത്രാദുരിതം വലിയ തോതിൽ കുറയ്ക്കാനാകുമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷ.
ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ നിന്ന് നാട്ടിലേക്കുള്ള ക്രിസ്മസ് യാത്ര മലയാളികൾക്ക് ഏറെ വികാരപരമായ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ളതാണെന്ന തിരിച്ചറിവോടെയാണ് ഇത്തവണ അധിക സർവീസുകൾ ഒരുക്കിയതെന്ന് കെഎസ്ആർടിസി അധികൃതർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. അവധിക്കാല തിരക്കിനിടയിലും സമയബന്ധിതവും സുരക്ഷിതവുമായ യാത്ര ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനായി ആവശ്യമായ എല്ലാ മുൻകരുതലുകളും സ്വീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും, യാത്രക്കാർക്ക് സന്തോഷകരമായ ഒരു ക്രിസ്മസ് യാത്രാനുഭവം നൽകാൻ കോർപ്പറേഷൻ സജ്ജമാണെന്നും അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു.

To manage the expected surge in passenger traffic during the Christmas holiday season, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced 66 special bus services to Kerala. The special services will operate on December 19, 20, 23, and 24, coinciding with the peak travel period before Christmas. KSRTC has confirmed that ticket booking has already begun and has advised passengers to book in advance to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
The special buses will connect Bengaluru with major destinations in Kerala, including Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kottayam, and the popular tourist destination of Munnar. In view of the simultaneous Christmas travel rush and the Sabarimala pilgrimage season, special pilgrimage services to Pampa that were announced earlier have also been included in the total count. This comprehensive arrangement is expected to significantly ease travel difficulties for both holiday travellers and pilgrims.
KSRTC officials said the additional services were introduced keeping in mind the emotional importance of Christmas homecoming for Malayalis. The corporation has assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure punctual and safe journeys during the holiday season.
