കാസർകോട്: രാഷ്ട്രീയ പോരാട്ടത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ നുണപ്രചാരണങ്ങളിലൂടെ നാടിന്റെ സമാധാനാന്തരീക്ഷം തകർക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച വനിതാ നേതാവിനെതിരെ പോലീസ് നിയമനടപടി ആരംഭിച്ചു. തുരുത്തിയിൽ പള്ളി ആക്രമിക്കപ്പെട്ടുവെന്ന വ്യാജവാർത്ത സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയയിലൂടെ പ്രചരിപ്പിച്ച സംഭവത്തിൽ ചെറുവത്തൂരിലെ മുസ്ലിം ലീഗ് നേതാവ് നഫീസ പൂമാടത്തിനെതിരെ ചന്തേര പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്തു. മടക്കര മുഴക്കീൽ സ്വദേശി ഇ.വി. ഷാജി നൽകിയ പരാതിയിലാണ് നടപടി. അടുത്തിടെ നടന്ന ചെറുവത്തൂർ പഞ്ചായത്ത് ഉപതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ രണ്ടാം വാർഡിലെ യുഡിഎഫ് സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥിയായിരുന്നു നഫീസ.

ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ പതിമൂന്നിന് വോട്ടെണ്ണൽ പൂർത്തിയായതിന് പിന്നാലെ ചെറുവത്തൂർ മടക്കര മേഖലയിൽ സിപിഎം-ലീഗ് പ്രവർത്തകർ തമ്മിൽ നേരിയ സംഘർഷാവസ്ഥ നിലനിന്നിരുന്നു. ഈ സാഹചര്യം മുതലെടുത്ത്, വർഗീയ സംഘർഷത്തിന് തിരികൊളുത്തുന്ന രീതിയിൽ തുരുത്തിയിലെ പള്ളിക്ക് നേരെ ആക്രമണം നടന്നുവെന്ന സന്ദേശം നഫീസ വാട്സ്ആപ്പ് ഗ്രൂപ്പുകൾ വഴി പ്രചരിപ്പിച്ചുവെന്നാണ് പോലീസിന്റെ കണ്ടെത്തൽ. ഈ വ്യാജ സന്ദേശം പ്രദേശവാസികൾക്കിടയിൽ വലിയ തോതിൽ ഭീതിയും വർഗീയമായ ചേരിതിരിവും സൃഷ്ടിക്കാൻ കാരണമായി.

വ്യാജപ്രചാരണം കാട്ടുതീ പോലെ പടർന്നതോടെ സംഭവത്തിന്റെ നിജസ്ഥിതി വ്യക്തമാക്കി തുരുത്തി ജമാഅത്ത് കമ്മിറ്റി തന്നെ നേരിട്ട് രംഗത്തെത്തി. തങ്ങളുടെ പള്ളിക്ക് നേരെ യാതൊരു ആക്രമണവും നടന്നിട്ടില്ലെന്നും രാഷ്ട്രീയ ലാഭത്തിനായി പള്ളിയുടെ പേര് വലിച്ചിഴച്ച് നാട്ടിലെ മതസൗഹാർദം തകർക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നവർക്കെതിരെ ജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കണമെന്നും കമ്മിറ്റി അറിയിച്ചു. ജമാഅത്ത് കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ ഈ കൃത്യമായ ഇടപെടലോടെയാണ് വ്യാജവാർത്തയ്ക്ക് പിന്നിലെ ഗൂഢാലോചന പുറത്തുവന്നത്.

ഒരു പ്രദേശത്തെ സമാധാനവും ജനങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലെ ഐക്യവും തകർക്കാൻ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥാനത്തിരിക്കുന്നവർ തന്നെ വ്യാജവാർത്തകളെ ആയുധമാക്കുന്നത് അതീവ ഗൗരവത്തോടെയാണ് പോലീസ് കാണുന്നത്. പ്രതിയുടെ ഫോൺ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ഡിജിറ്റൽ തെളിവുകൾ പോലീസ് ശേഖരിച്ചു വരികയാണ്. രാഷ്ട്രീയ വിദ്വേഷം തീർക്കാൻ മതചിഹ്നങ്ങളെ ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്യുന്നത് ഒരു തരത്തിലും അനുവദിക്കില്ലെന്നും സമാധാനം ലംഘിക്കുന്നവർക്കെതിരെ ശക്തമായ നടപടികളുണ്ടാകുമെന്നും ചന്തേര പോലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

The committee warned against attempts to misuse religious institutions for political gain and stressed the need to protect communal harmony. This clarification played a key role in exposing the falsehood behind the claims.

Police have stated that spreading fake news, especially involving religious symbols and places of worship, is a serious offence with the potential to disrupt public peace. Digital evidence, including mobile phone data, is being collected as part of the investigation. Chandera Police have reiterated that strict action will be taken against anyone attempting to incite communal tension or disturb social harmony through misinformation.
