By കാസർകോട്: തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലേക്ക് നടക്കുന്ന നിർണ്ണായക തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ഔദ്യോഗിക സ്ഥാനാർഥികൾക്കെതിരെ വിമതക്കുപ്പായമിട്ടവർക്ക് കോൺഗ്രസിന്റെ കടുത്ത ശിക്ഷ. പാർട്ടിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാന തത്വങ്ങൾ ലംഘിച്ച് മത്സരിച്ച 15 വിമത സ്ഥാനാർഥികളെയും അവർക്ക് പിന്തുണ നൽകി പ്രവർത്തിച്ച അഞ്ച് നേതാക്കളെയും കോൺഗ്രസിന്റെ പ്രാഥമിക അംഗത്വത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കിയതായി ഡി.സി.സി. പ്രസിഡന്റ് പി.കെ. ഫൈസൽ അറിയിച്ചു. പാർട്ടി അച്ചടക്കത്തിന് അതീതമായി ആര് പ്രവർത്തിച്ചാലും ശക്തമായ നടപടി ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന മുന്നറിയിപ്പാണ് കാസർകോട് ജില്ലാ നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

വിമത സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും അവരെ സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത കള്ളാറിലെ സജി മണ്ണൂർ, ജോഷി, കുമ്പള പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ റിയാസ്, കേശവ, ബളാൽ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ എൻ.ടി. മാത്യു എന്നീ മുതിർന്ന നേതാക്കൾക്കെതിരെയും നേതൃത്വം വാളോങ്ങി. ഇവരെയും കോൺഗ്രസിന്റെ പ്രാഥമിക അംഗത്വത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കിയതായി ഫൈസൽ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് അടുത്തിരിക്കെ പാർട്ടി നടത്തിയ ഈ കടുത്ത നീക്കം യു.ഡി.എഫ്. ക്യാമ്പിൽ വലിയ ചർച്ചാവിഷയമായിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ നടപടി വിമതശല്യം പൂർണ്ണമായും ഇല്ലാതാക്കി ഔദ്യോഗിക സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികളുടെ വിജയം ഉറപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ശക്തമായ സന്ദേശമായാണ് വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നത്.

Additionally, five leaders—Saji Mannoor, Joshi, Riyas, Keshava, and N.T. Mathew—who actively worked for the rebel candidates were also stripped of their primary membership. This drastic move by the Congress leadership just before the election has stirred significant discussion within the UDF camp and is viewed as a determined effort to eliminate the rebel threat and secure victory for the official candidates.
