By ചന്തേര: ചെറുവത്തൂരിലെ മലബാർ ലോഡ്ജ് കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് അനാശാസ്യ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടത്തിയ സംഘത്തെ ചന്തേര പോലീസ് പിടികൂടിയ സംഭവത്തിൽ, നടത്തിപ്പുകാരൻ CPI(M)-ന്റെ പ്രാദേശിക നേതാവാണെന്ന ഗുരുതര ആരോപണം പുറത്തുവന്നു. കൈതക്കാട് ലോക്കൽ സെക്രട്ടറി എന്ന് ആരോപിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന അസൈനാർ ആണ് കേസിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രതി. ഇയാളെ മുൻപ് പലതവണ നിയമനടപടികളിൽ നിന്ന് CPI(M) നേതാക്കൾ ഇടപെട്ട് രക്ഷിച്ചു എന്നും ശക്തമായ സൂചനകളുണ്ട്.
കാഞ്ഞങ്ങാട് ഡിവൈഎസ്പി സുരേഷ് ബാബുവിന്റെ പ്രത്യേക നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ പ്രശാന്ത് കെ.യുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള പോലീസ് സംഘമാണ് ലോഡ്ജിൽ പരിശോധന നടത്തിയത്. എ.എസ്.ഐ. ലീന, സിവിൽ പോലീസ് ഓഫീസർമാരായ ശരണ്യ, സുരേഷ് എന്നിവരും സംഘത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
ചന്തേര പോലീസ് Immoral Traffic Prevention Act (ITPA) സെക്ഷൻ 3 പ്രകാരം കേസ് (Cr. No. 923/25) രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. എഫ്ഐആറിൽ പ്രതിയായി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള അസൈനാറിനൊപ്പം മുള്ളേരിയ സ്വദേശിനിയായ നസീമയും പിടിയിലായിട്ടുണ്ട്. സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രയാസങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളെ വലയിലാക്കി വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു ഇവരുടെ പ്രധാന രീതി.
പ്രതിയായ അസൈനാർ മുൻപ് കൈതക്കാട് പള്ളിയിലെ ഭാരവാഹിയായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും, സമാനമായ കേസിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് പള്ളി ഭരണസമിതി ഇയാളെ സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്ന് നീക്കം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. തുടർന്നും ഭാരവാഹിത്വത്തിലേക്ക് തിരികെ വരാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും മഹല്ല് നിവാസികളുടെ ശക്തമായ പ്രതിരോധം കാരണം അത് നടന്നില്ല.
അതീവ ഗൗരവകരമായ ആരോപണം ഉയർന്നുവരുന്നത്, വേശ്യാലയവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് മുൻപ് പലതവണ പോലീസ് പരിശോധനകൾക്ക് എത്തിയിരുന്ന ഘട്ടങ്ങളിലെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ഇടപെടലുകളെക്കുറിച്ചാണ്. ഇത്തരം സന്ദർഭങ്ങളിലെല്ലാം സിപിഐഎം നേതാക്കൾ നേരിട്ട് ഇടപെടുകയും അസൈനാറിനെതിരായ നടപടികൾ ഒഴിവാക്കി നൽകുകയുമായിരുന്നു എന്നും ആരോപിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
നിയമപ്രകാരം, വേശ്യാലയം സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയോ, കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഏതൊരാൾക്കും ആദ്യ കുറ്റത്തിന് ഒന്നു മുതൽ മൂന്ന് വർഷം വരെ കഠിന തടവും രണ്ടായിരം രൂപ വരെ പിഴയും ലഭിക്കും. തുടർന്നുള്ള കുറ്റങ്ങൾക്ക് രണ്ട് മുതൽ അഞ്ച് വർഷം വരെ തടവാണ് ശിക്ഷ. കൂടാതെ, അനാശാസ്യത്തിന് സ്ഥലം നൽകുന്ന ഉടമസ്ഥരും ഏജന്റുമാരും നിയമപരമായി ഉത്തരവാദികളായിരിക്കും.സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് വിശദമായ അന്വേഷണം തുടരുകയാണെന്ന് പോലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.
