വിവാഹമോചന നോട്ടീസ് നൽകി ഒരാഴ്ച; ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ യുവതിയെ ഭർത്താവ് നടുറോഡിൽ വെടിവെച്ചുകൊന്നു

ബെംഗളൂരു: ഐടി നഗരമായ ബെംഗളൂരുവിനെ നടുക്കി രാജാജി നഗറിൽ പട്ടാപ്പകൽ അതിക്രൂരമായ കൊലപാതകം. ജോലി കഴിഞ്ഞ് മടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്ന സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയർ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥ ഭുവനേശ്വരി (30) ആണ് ഭർത്താവ് ബാലമുരുകന്റെ (38) വെടിയേറ്റ് മരിച്ചത്. ദാമ്പത്യ തർക്കങ്ങളെത്തുടർന്ന് ഒന്നര വർഷമായി ഇവർ വേർപിരിഞ്ഞു കഴിയുകയായിരുന്നു.

2011-ൽ വിവാഹിതരായ തമിഴ്‌നാട് സേലം സ്വദേശികളായ ഇവർ 2018-ലാണ് ബെംഗളൂരുവിലെത്തുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ കുടുംബവഴക്ക് രൂക്ഷമായതോടെ രണ്ടു മക്കളുമായി ഭുവനേശ്വരി രാജാജി നഗറിലെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മാറി. നിയമപരമായി ബന്ധം വേർപെടുത്താൻ ഭുവനേശ്വരി ഒരാഴ്ച മുൻപ് അയച്ച വിവാഹമോചന നോട്ടീസാണ് ബാലമുരുകനെ പ്രകോപിപ്പിച്ചതെന്ന് പോലീസ് കരുതുന്നു. വൈറ്റ്ഫീൽഡിലെ പ്രമുഖ കമ്പനിയിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ബാലമുരുകന് ആറുമാസം മുൻപ് ജോലി നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇത് ഇയാളെ മാനസികമായി തളർത്തുകയും കൂടുതൽ അക്രമാസക്തനാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതായാണ് വിവരം.

ഭാര്യയുടെ ദിനചര്യകൾ കൃത്യമായി മനസ്സിലാക്കിയ ബാലമുരുകൻ, രാജാജി നഗറിലെ ഒരു ബാങ്കിന് സമീപം അവർക്കായി കാത്തുനിന്നു. ഓഫീസിൽ നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങി നടന്നുപോവുകയായിരുന്ന ഭുവനേശ്വരിയെ ഇയാൾ പിന്തുടരുകയും ആരുമില്ലാത്ത സമയം നോക്കി പുറകിലൂടെ തൊട്ടടുത്തുനിന്ന് വെടിയുതിർക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു. വെടിയേറ്റ യുവതി നിമിഷങ്ങൾക്കകം റോഡിൽ രക്തം വാർന്നു വീണു. നാട്ടുകാരും സഹപ്രവർത്തകരും ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മരണം സംഭവിച്ചിരുന്നു.

സംഭവസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നും ഓടിരക്ഷപ്പെടാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച പ്രതിയെ പോലീസ് പിടികൂടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരു കാലത്ത് സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന കുടുംബത്തിലുണ്ടായ ഈ ദുരന്തം സഹപ്രവർത്തകർക്കും നാട്ടുകാർക്കും വിശ്വസിക്കാനായിട്ടില്ല. അച്ഛൻ ജയിലിലേക്കും അമ്മ മരണത്തിലേക്കും പോയതോടെ രണ്ട് പിഞ്ചുകുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളാണ് നഗരത്തിൽ അനാഥരായത്.

കൊലപാതകത്തിന് ഉപയോഗിച്ച തോക്ക് ഇയാൾക്ക് എവിടെ നിന്ന് ലഭിച്ചു എന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് പോലീസ് വിശദമായ അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു.
