By കാസർകോട്: മദ്രസ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിക്ക് കാറിൽ ലിഫ്റ്റ് നൽകിയ ശേഷം യാത്രയ്ക്കിടയിൽ ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമം നടത്താൻ ശ്രമിച്ച സംഭവത്തിൽ 60 വയസ്സുകാരനെതിരെ പോക്സോ കേസ്. പരപ്പ സ്വദേശിയായ റസാഖ് (60) എന്നയാൾക്കെതിരെ 13 വയസ്സുകാരന്റെ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ വെള്ളരിക്കുണ്ട് പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്തു. കുട്ടികൾക്കെതിരായ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾക്കെതിരെ കർശന നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് പോലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.
കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസമാണ് നാടിനെ നടുക്കിയ ഈ സംഭവം നടന്നത്. മദ്രസയിലെ ക്ലാസ് കഴിഞ്ഞ് വീട്ടിലേക്ക് നടന്നുപോവുകയായിരുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയെ കാറിലെത്തിയ റസാഖ് ലിഫ്റ്റ് വാഗ്ദാനംചെയ്ത് കുട്ടിയെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിച്ച് കാറിൽ കയറ്റിയതിന് ശേഷം, യാത്രാവേളയിൽ ഇയാൾ കുട്ടിയെ ഉമ്മവെക്കുകയും പീഡിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവെന്നാണ് പരാതിയിൽ പറയുന്നത്. ഭയന്നുപോയ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി വീട്ടിലെത്തിയ ഉടൻ തന്നെ വിവരം രക്ഷിതാക്കളെ അറിയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. തുടർന്ന് രക്ഷിതാക്കൾ വെള്ളരിക്കുണ്ട് പോലീസിൽ പരാതി നൽകി.
പരാതിയുടെ ഗൗരവം കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് പോലീസ് ഉടൻ തന്നെ റസാഖിനെതിരെ പോക്സോ നിയമപ്രകാരം കേസെടുക്കുകയും പ്രതിക്കായി അന്വേഷണം ഊർജ്ജിതമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. കുട്ടികളുടെ സുരക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിൽ സമൂഹവും രക്ഷിതാക്കളും കൂടുതൽ ജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ ആവശ്യകത ഈ സംഭവം ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പ്രതിയെ ഉടൻ പിടികൂടാൻ പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണസംഘം രൂപീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് പോലീസ് വൃത്തങ്ങൾ അറിയിച്ചു.
