A major protest has erupted within the Congress party in the Manjeshwaram constituency ahead of the upcoming local body elections. Several Congress leaders and office-bearers have collectively resigned from their posts, alleging that the Muslim League has been taking unilateral decisions and sidelining the Congress within the UDF alliance.
