കാസർകോട്: വോട്ടർ പട്ടികാ ക്യാമ്പിനിടെ ബൂത്ത് ലെവൽ ഓഫീസറെ (ബി.എൽ.ഒ.) മർദിക്കുകയും ഔദ്യോഗിക ജോലി തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്ത കേസിൽ സി.പി.എം. പ്രാദേശിക നേതാവും ദേലമ്പാടി പഞ്ചായത്ത് അംഗവുമായ എ. സുരേന്ദ്രൻ റിമാൻഡിൽ. സി.പി.എം. പാണ്ടി ലോക്കൽ സെക്രട്ടറിയായ സുരേന്ദ്രൻ, ഒരു പൊതുപ്രവർത്തകൻ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനോട് അതിക്രമം കാട്ടിയെന്ന ഗുരുതര ആരോപണത്തിലാണ് അറസ്റ്റിലായത്.

ബിവറേജസ് കോർപ്പറേഷൻ ബന്തടുക്ക ഔട്ട്‌ലെറ്റിലെ എൽ.ഡി. ക്ലർക്ക് കൂടിയായ പി. അജിത്ത്, വ്യാഴാഴ്ച (27.11.2025) പയറടുക്കയിൽ നടന്ന തീവ്ര വോട്ടർ പട്ടിക പുനഃപരിശോധനാ ക്യാമ്പിനിടെയിലാണ് മർദനത്തിന് ഇരയായത്.

അഡൂർ വില്ലേജിലെ ചാപ്പക്കൽ കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി ഹാളിന് സമീപമുള്ള കെട്ടിടത്തിൽ എസ്.ഐ.ആർ. (SIR) ഫോം കളക്ഷൻ ഡ്യൂട്ടിയിലായിരുന്ന ബി.എൽ.ഒ. ആയ അജിത്തിനെതിരെയാണ് പഞ്ചായത്തംഗം അതിക്രമം നടത്തിയത്. ഒരു പ്രത്യേക വോട്ടർക്ക് ഫോം നേരിട്ട് നൽകിയില്ല എന്നതിലുള്ള മുൻവൈരാഗ്യമാണ് ആക്രമണത്തിന് കാരണമായതെന്ന് ആദൂർ പോലീസ് എഫ്.ഐ.ആറിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.

കേസിലെ പ്രധാന പരാതികൾ ഇങ്ങനെ:

• ജോലി തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തണമെന്ന ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തോടെ സുരേന്ദ്രൻ സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി.
• ബി.എൽ.ഒ.യുടെ കോളറിൽ ചുറ്റിപ്പിടിച്ച് തള്ളി ചുമരിനോട് ചേർത്ത് നിർത്തി കൈകൊണ്ട് അടിച്ച് ദേഹോപദ്രവം ചെയ്തു.
• അശ്ലീല ഭാഷയിൽ ചീത്ത വിളിക്കുകയും ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
• ഔദ്യോഗിക കൃത്യനിർവഹണം തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തി.

ഔദ്യോഗിക ചുമതലയിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഒരു ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനെതിരെ ജനപ്രതിനിധി തന്നെ കൈയ്യേറ്റം നടത്തിയത് ഏറെ ഗൗരവത്തോടെയാണ് അധികൃതർ കാണുന്നത്. മർദനമേറ്റ ബി.എൽ.ഒ. പി. അജിത്ത് ഉടൻ തന്നെ ജില്ലാ കലക്ടർക്ക് രേഖാമൂലം പരാതി നൽകിയിരുന്നു. തുടർന്ന് ആദൂർ പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്ത് എ. സുരേന്ദ്രനെ അറസ്റ്റ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി റിമാൻഡ് ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു. ഔദ്യോഗിക കൃത്യനിർവഹണം തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തൽ, ദേഹോപദ്രവം ഏൽപ്പിക്കൽ തുടങ്ങിയ ഗുരുതര വകുപ്പുകളാണ് ഇയാൾക്കെതിരെ ചുമത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത്.
