മംഗളൂരു: വിധി ഇത്രമേൽ ക്രൂരമാകുമോ എന്ന് വിറങ്ങലിച്ചു നിൽക്കുകയാണ് കൊപ്പളയിലെ ഇന്ദറാഗി ഗ്രാമം. രണ്ട് ദിവസത്തെ ഇടവേളയിൽ നടന്ന രണ്ട് വാഹനാപകടങ്ങൾ ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളെയും പ്രതീക്ഷകളെയും പൂർണ്ണമായും തകർത്തെറിഞ്ഞു. ബൈക്ക് അപകടത്തിൽ അച്ഛൻ മരിച്ചതിന്റെ ഞെട്ടൽ മാറും മുൻപേ, മൂന്നാം പനാൾ നടന്ന മറ്റൊരു അപകടത്തിൽ മകനും രണ്ട് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും പൊലിഞ്ഞത് നാടിനെ ഒന്നടങ്കം കണ്ണീരിലാഴ്ത്തി.

കൊപ്പള സ്വദേശികളായ രാജാ ഹുസൈൻ (21), സുഹൃത്തുക്കളായ വാജിദ് (22), ആസിഫ് (20) എന്നിവരാണ് വ്യാഴാഴ്ച മരിച്ചത്. രാജാ ഹുസൈന്റെ പിതാവ് ബുഡാൻ സാബ് (48) ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച ഹിത്ത ടോൾ ഗേറ്റിന് സമീപം ബൈക്ക് നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട് മറിഞ്ഞ് മരിച്ചിരുന്നു. കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ നെടുംതൂണായ അച്ഛന്റെ മരണാനന്തര ചടങ്ങുകൾ നടക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് മകനെയും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെയും മരണം തട്ടിയെടുത്തത്.

ബുഡാൻ സാബിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം മണ്ണടിയും മുൻപേയായിരുന്നു രണ്ടാമത്തെ ദുരന്തം. രാജാ ഹുസൈനും കൂട്ടുകാരും സഞ്ചരിച്ചിരുന്ന ബൈക്കിലേക്ക് ഒരു ബൊളേരോ ജീപ്പ് ഇടിച്ചു കയറുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തിൽ ബൈക്ക് തവിടുപൊടിയായി. ഓടിക്കൂടിയ നാട്ടുകാർ ചേർന്ന് ഉടൻ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മൂവരുടെയും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. അച്ഛന്റെ വിയോഗത്തിൽ തളർന്നുപോയ ഒരു വീടിനെ പൂർണ്ണമായും നിശബ്ദമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടാണ് മകന്റെ ചേതനയറ്റ ശരീരവും ആ ഉമ്മറത്തേക്ക് എത്തിയത്.
